Workbench learning stations invite exploration of topics in science, art, and auto technology. Located throughout the Gilmore Car Museum, ten or more of these stations launch learning from our fascination with cars. Each focuses one idea. Together, they reveal the complex interplay of systems—beautiful, nearly alive.

This exhibit has brought to life 15 innovative Franklin automobiles and their related place in history. With a theater showcasing the 1904 transcontinental trip, period showroom from the 1920’s, a motorized turntable and authentic scenes built with murals and artifacts.
